Calce Company — 2025 Year in Review

A year of growth, craftsmanship, and connection.

With 2025 coming to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the milestones, workshops, launches, and community achievements that shaped this incredible year. What drives Calce Company forward isn’t just innovation: it’s the artisans, designers, builders, and partners who bring our finishes to life across Australia.

Wrapping up 2025 at Calce Company.

Measured Growth, Meaningful Additions

Our focus remained on considered growth, marked by the opening of our Melbourne location and the addition of a new team member, Paul, in Melbourne. We also welcomed Corrado as our South Australia and Western Australia Relationship Specialist — milestones that underscore our ongoing commitment to thoughtful expansion and enduring relationships.

Training Highlights

2025 was one of our biggest training years to date. From interactive surface-finishing courses to advanced application sessions, we had the privilege of guiding decorators and applicators through new systems and specialised techniques.

SherDecor Polished Stone Effect Masterclass: A National Debut

A standout highlight was hosting the first-ever SherDecor Polished Stone Effect Masterclass in Australia. We travelled from Sydney to Melbourne to the Gold Coast, delivering sold-out, in-depth training where attendees mastered stone veining, colour layering, movement, and advanced finishing techniques, all directly inspired by the founder’s method.

This masterclass marked a major moment for Australia’s decorative finishes industry, and the overwhelmingly positive response ensures it won’t be the last.

2025 also marked a considered period of growth for Calce Company, with the opening of our Melbourne location and the welcoming of Paul to the team in Melbourne. We also welcomed Corrado as our South Australia Relationship Specialist — milestones that reflect our ongoing commitment to thoughtful expansion and enduring relationships.

Introducing the Next Chapter in Artisan Finishes

2025 was a year of genuine material evolution at Calce Company. In addition to expanding our current range, we introduced Intonachino Argilla, the all-new natural clay plaster.

Intonachino Argilla is handcrafted from selected natural clays, mineral sands, and marble powders, offering a richly textured, sustainable finish built for interiors. It comes in two grain sizes: finer for elegant, understated surfaces, or a coarser, more tactile option for a rustic, expressive look.

What makes Intonachino Argilla stand out:

  • It’s fully customisable from custom colours to tailored textural forms with natural and recycled additives, giving you complete design flexibility.

  • It’s breathable, VOC-free, and helps regulate humidity, making it ideal for comfortable, healthy interiors.

  • Easy to work with: no long curing times, repairable over time, and its earthy texture adds depth, character, and a sense of authenticity that aligns with conscious design and sustainability.

We believe Intonachino Argilla represents a new chapter for those who value material honesty, natural beauty, and design that respects both people and environment.

Expanding Influence in Design & Architecture

This year saw a significant rise in our products appearing in architect-led residences, boutique commercial spaces, hospitality venues, and luxury bathroom renovations across the country.

Seamless surfaces and handcrafted textures continued to define Australian interior trends in 2025, and we’re proud to be part of that evolution. Explore some of the standout features from 2025.
